Liberty Footwear’s family-owned and operated business grew out of a deep family heritage of quality shoemaking. Owner Petr Kovarik’s knowledge of shoemaking dates back to his childhood, spent shadowing his father, a shoemaker in Czechoslovakia (now known as the Czech Republic).
After attending a shoemaking high school and college, Kovarik only strengthened his appreciation for the art and craftsmanship at the heart of building quality footwear. After he moved to America in pursuit of opportunity, Liberty Footwear was eventually born.
While many companies continue to cut costs by using cheap materials in their products — Liberty Footwear continues to gain traction by using quality materials in every boot. Our team proudly creates over 50 different versions of work boots for workers in construction, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, trucking, remodeling — and even bus drivers, janitors, warehouse workers and auto mechanics.
In addition to work boots designed for safety, hiking and everyday wear, we also offer custom fitting for local businesses and bulk order discounts — keeping with our mission to provide comfort and safety to the blue-collar workers who make America great.
