The Process
We measure both feet individually — width, arch, and instep. No appointment needed at our Grand Rapids factory outlet store.
Skilled craftsmen cut, stitch, and welt each boot in our Grand Rapids factory using premium full-grain leather.
Goodyear welt construction means your boots can be resoled when the sole wears out — so you get years more life from a pair you already love.
Trail Ready
Our hikers pair waterproof full-grain leather with an aggressive rubber-cup lug outsole — slip, oil, and abrasion resistant, ready for any terrain. Same handmade Grand Rapids build, made to go the distance.
Protection Built In
Our composite safety toes are multilayer fiberglass with carbon nanotubes — 50% lighter than steel, non-metallic, and ASTM F2413 certified. Full protection without the heavy, cold feel of a steel toe.

Petr made me two custom boots at this point, form fitting to EACH FOOT. When leather work boots are comfy enough to wear on a date in a pinch, you know you have good boots. If you are in the need of boots, this is the place to go.
